• When you buy 1 liter of mineral water bought in supermarkets = 5 liters of water. Ask why?, Because at the factory, to cool the hot plastic bottles new printed, requires 5 liters of water. Listing bottle what is safe to use as a bottle of water? See the sign below the bottle, look for 2.3 or 4 numbers. Number 2 than that, they're not safe, because you eat plastic!!

• TISSUE who has used it on guns can recycle, as well as former hit carton oil, food, cakes, drinks; they’re only a waste (garbage). Estimates of people wearing TISSUE day = 6 seed 2200 seeds a year. To top it off, Aveda claims to manufacture all its products using 100% wind power.

Kudos to these brands for making a difference.

time limitations will become a barrier for you to take part in preserving our environment.
here are 5 simple tips that you should try if you really want to make a difference to our nature and you can use to live a greener lifestyle :)

1) Consider alternative transportation
Bike or use public transit whenever you get the chance. Carpooling is another great idea that many businesses are doing these days. It cuts down the amount of pollution dramatically, you would be shocked.

2) Take care of your car and cut down on emissions
If you are going to drive, keep your tires inflated well and don’t speed. If you do these two simple things you will save not just the environment due to less emissions but you will save money too. You will use less fuel and goodness knows we could all do to save on gas. The prices are too high for me.

3) The 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
When you can reuse old packaging instead of buying new things. This actually saves more energy than recycling. The amount of packaging that comes with products these days is crazy so if you can reuse definitely do it. Think of the space the landfill would have if all that packaging didn’t make it that far. Get paper bags when you can but if you have to use plastic be sure to reuse them.

4) Compost kitchen scraps etc.
Approximately 30% of the trash that is thrown away is compostable. If you compost the leaves, grass, vegetable scraps and other miscellaneous food stuffs, you are saving energy and landfill space. You can use a regular old bin for composting or you can purchase special composters, they are pretty cool.

5) Conserve water

Don’t let faucets run. Never water your lawn at midday. Place a brick in old toilets. Take low flow short showers. Run the dishwasher only when it is full. Let grass grow longer. Plant native or drought-tolerant garden plants.

These 5 simple tips can make a big difference to the world, I know you’re skeptical, but it’s true. Share these earth friendly tips with your friends and get the whole gang going. By just doing one of these things you can set an example for others.

• Only buy clothing that you will really wear - avoid impulse buying!
• Rent formal wear for weddings and other events. Women's evening wear rentals are now available in most cities.

• Buy some gender neutral clothes for your kids that can be passed on to someone else and easily shared with siblings.

• Dress casual more often! Clothing that needs to be dry cleaned leaves a bigger carbon footprint.

• Tired of your clothes? Host a clothing swap - get a bunch of friends together and swap what you no longer wear.

Adopt a park -- Help a group of young people adopt a neighborhood park. Enhance an existing park by planting wildflowers or building a butterfly garden. Ask your city parks department for information about local park beautification opportunities.

Curb clutter -- Look no further than your own street or nearby highway to enhance your community's beauty. Many cities have adopt-a-street or -highway programs where citizens can help curb clutter by picking up litter at regular intervals.

Conserving local wildlife -- Contact your local zoo or state park to learn more about conserving wildlife and protecting animals that are indigenous to the area.

Protecting waterways -- Become involved in water conservation efforts for streams, wetlands and waterways in your area. Check with a local division of water resources to see how to get involved.

School beautification -- Partner with a gardening club to plant and care for flowerbeds at a local school.

Recycling computers -- Encourage local businesses to recycle computers and other used electronic equipment by donating them to a nonprofit organization rather than throwing them away. Ask your city's waste management division about starting or expanding a recycling program for offices.
